تأتي هذه القهوة من التربة البركانية الخصبة في سلسلة جبال في غرب أوغندا ، على الحدود مع لكونغو. يتم استيراداها مباشرة من مجتمع مكون من 35 مزارعًا رئيسيًا ، على طول المنحدرات شديدة الانحدار ، والذين يزرعون ويحصدون القهوة في مزارعهم الصغيرة قبل تسليمها إلى مركز تجفيف مركزي. تججفف القهوة بشكل رقيق على سرير مرتفع ، حيث ينضج ويجف لمدة 20-30 يومًاز حيث تمثل هذه القهوة أول إنتاج لهم على الإطلاق. قهوة جبران هي واحدة من اربع محمصات فقط في جميع أنحاء العالم لديها فرصة فريدة لتقديم قهوة فريدة جدًا لعشاق القهوة في العراق.سميت هذه القهوة الرائعة بـ "Chanzo" ، لأنها تعني "المصدر" باللغة السواحيلية حيث يعقع جبل روينزوري في سلسلة جبال غرب أوغندا هو احد مصادر نهر النيل.

This coffee comes from the lush Volcanic soils of the Mountain range in Western Uganda, bordering the Congo. Sourced directly from a community of 35 Lead Farmers, along the steep slopes, who grow and harvest the cherries on their small farms before delivering only the juiciest of red cherries to a central drying centre. Cherries are thinly spread on a raised bed, where they mature and dry for 20-30 days. The Micro Lot project was created in 2016, and initially has a demonstration farm, to educate farmers on Speciality preparation, with this coffee representing their first-ever production. Jubran Roastery is one of only 4 roasters worldwide to have the unique opportunity to introduce a very unique coffee to the coffee-loving public.

Just in case you were wondering why this amazing coffee was named "Chanzo", it's because it means "The Source" in Swahili. The Rwenzori mountain in the Western Uganda range is the source of the Nile river.
